Planning: Location Reece

In order to get the right location for our trailer we went around to possible locations to give us an idea on what will connect and link to our genre the best. The location was rural areas connecting to the genre of a Farming documentary and linking to our representation of a stereotypical location for a Farm.

Field and Barn Location-

This location will be perfect for shooting establishing and location shots for our Trailer showing the audience a connection to our intentions towards representing a stereotypical farm and connecting to the representation of the character. The location is landscape and will be perfect for showing detail and the representation of a rural area to the audience.





Field (Tractor) Location-

This location shows the representation of the rural surroundings which link to the genre of a Farming documentary and showing the audience that the character is hard working and owns a lot of land from this location. We feel the location of a field is stereotypical for this type of trailer showing the audience an instant connection to the genre and theme of Farming.





Sheep Barn Location-

This location of a sheep barn links to the theme of farming and instantly allows the audience to see the connection to the stereotypical idea of a farm. The sheep are a key feature and element to a farm which the audience can see the connection to the stereotypical theme of a farm. The barn also has good lighting which allows us to gain clear and high quality shots with tone and contrast where the audience can see the focus and lighting to its best quality, making it more realistic and appealing to the audience.








Hay Bay Location-


The location of a hay bay will link to the stereotypical feature of a farm, showing the audience a connection to the idea of farming and the genre. The location of a hay barrow is a key feature to representing a farm location and connects to the representation of the character linking to a personality of hard working. The location allows us to capture foreground and establishing shots for the audience to see the key features on the farm.
